During the recent discussion about setting up a sikh charity to help the people I asked that 'Dharam Parchar' be an important aspect our charity's aims. In my view many of the other aims that have been discussed such as Drug de-addiction centre, arrange marriages of the poor girls, provide shelter for baby girls & widows, anti dowry and anti female feticide can only be achieved through using dharam parchar. As the majority of the people living in the adopted village will be sikhs we have to use Gurbani in order to wean people off drugs and in order to create a moral force against dowry and female feticide.
In order to give the background of what is actually happening in rural punjab today with regard to the sikh youth and apostasy.
'Dharma parchar' with your help, can make a lasting and monumental difference. The projects that we are working on will involve building schools, day centers, homes, clinics and much more. We need you to accomplish this and there are no donations too small.
